Horticulture New Zealand is praising customs staff at Dunedin Airport for stopping from entering the country a tiny fruit fly that could have caused untold damage to the industry. A Queensland fruit fly maggot was spotted as it was hitching a ride on an Australian tourist's undeclared mandarin.
